DTL Deutsche Textil Logistik is a logistics company with cooperation partners in 14 countries throughout Europe. Our main business activity is the transport of hanging textile products.

DTL, which came into being in 1986 as a result of the merger of 13 medium-sized transport companies, began life as a supplier of comprehensive point-to-point distribution services for hanging textile products.

Thanks to ongoing developments in the areas of IT, barcode-related technologies and quality management, DTL was able to deal with and implement customer-specific requirements quickly.

DTL was the first German company to receive certification as a specialist in textile logistics. The process began with implementing a seamless system of barcode-based consignment tracking. Coupled with its hands-on approach to ecological responsibility, DTL has taken a leading role in terms of quality and the environment.

The company specialises in the collection and delivery of hanging textile products of all types, along with flat-packed textile items and related accessories and similar products. Our range of activities also includes the provision of extra services, such as hanger attachment, labelling, commissioning and storage on behalf of commercial customers and franchisees and/or their subcontractors.

All this is in addition to our role as a conventional freight forwarder, operating on the free market.
